Striking Banana Workers Attacked

Support Ecuadorian Banana Workers!

Banana workers in Ecuador who have been organizing for their basic rights and a decent wage faced violent attacks on two different occasions on the night of May 15 and evening of May 16th by men who identified themselves as hired by the Noboa Corporation. Violent intimidation at another plantation where workers are fighting for a union raises concerns of an industry-wide plan of intimidation and violence.

Take Action
Demand justice for banana workers from the company, from the Ecuadorian government, and more here.

Send a postcard to encourage the new president of Ecuador to respect worker rights in the banana industry.
