What is the Story Behind your Shoes?

Between May 1 (Labour Day) and May 31, thousands of people will be spending one hour each week handing out leaflets outside their local sports store. Eight human rights groups from around the world are taking part. More than 15,000 anti-sweatshop campaigners are being invited to participate.

We want Nike to contribute to the severance pay of 7,000 Indonesian women and men who lost their jobs seven months ago. We want all sportswear brands to make sure that workers' legal and human rights are respected.

We need your help. If we are serious about ending sweatshops then we need to make our presence felt in the place that matters most to the big brands - the place where their products are sold. Don't miss this chance to be involved in the biggest global actions against sweatshops yet attempted.
